Pastor Lyn Thow
Lyn is married to Gwennyth and they have four adult sons, three married, with five grandchildren. He has served in Baptist Churches in Sydney and Canberra since 1973 and is the Area Minister for Baptist churches in Canberra. With Gwennyth they have a passion to support a group of Ugandan churches. Lyn and Gwennyth enjoy family life, follows the Brumbies and Wallabies and likes to play golf.

Pastor James Sutherland
James originally hails from Canberra and is delighted to be on the Pastoral Team at Hughes Baptist having served for almost a decade up in Sydney. James is dedicated to and passionate about introducing people to Jesus and seeing the difference that He makes in their lives as they come to know Him more. His main role at Hughes is centred around Mission and Preaching and there is nothing he enjoys more than seeing the people of God engaged in their call to Mission as found in the scriptures. In his spare time James enjoys seeing God’s awesome creation via his 4wd, watching movies and eating good food. He lives with his amazing wife Deby and their dog Bella in a southern suburb of Canberra.
